Skyler Wind

SKYLER WIND, real name Claudia Wind, is a 26-year-old Swiss-Canadian singer-songwriter. Born in Singapore and raised in the canton of Zurich with (Swiss) D/E/F multilingualism, the artist wants to touch people, generate a sense of belonging and be a mouthpiece for her generation. Her bold style and creative use of words and melodies in her songs, also thanks to her degree in English linguistics and literature, manages to strike a chord with today's zeitgeist and invites reflection. The ambitious musician has recently started a promising collaboration with the Swiss production company HitMill, writes songs for various projects and artists (e.g. "Eurovision Song Contest") and is brand ambassador for the car brand "Kia Switzerland".

With her previous releases, most recently the bilingual (EN/FR) pop duet "Don't Let Me Down" with Igor Iov, Skyler Wind has gained (inter)national attention, chart placements and nationwide airplay, including on SRF3, RSI Rete 3, RTS stations, Radio Swiss Pop, Radio 1, Sunshine (several times at number 1 in the listener charts), Energy Discover and other radio stations in Germany, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Italy and Canada, among others.

Several direct entries in the top 5 positions of the iTunes charts, over 1,000,000 streams on Spotify and 10,000 followers on her verified Instagram page reflect the monumental growth of this promising artist. Her first EP "Feelings, Inter Alia", which was released in November 2021, also caused quite a stir. Further releases such as the bilingual duet "Et puis après?" with the French-speaking Swiss artist Igor Iov and the pop singles "Happy Now?", "Lonely Heart" and "worst thing" reflect the artist's monumental growth; the latter even earned her second place in the "OPEN STAGE" talent competition organised by Swisscom blue. Skyler Wind is currently working with HitMill on an EP with a brand new sound, which is expected to be released in spring 2024. The goal on the horizon: to make waves internationally.
